It is very difficult to advise you without having details of your Insurance policy.

Generally speaking most of our policies cover legal protection and would assist with reclaiming for any personal injuires  you and your wife may have suffered .If you have travel assistance this cover may be available to you.If not you will need to contact  a lawyer to help you with this.

Most policies do not automatically cover the costs of a Hire Car . This is an optional extra on some Insurance Policies. ( We can offer this facility ).

The third party company will not pay these expenses at all .This One of the differences between UK & Spanish policies.

Hire car costs will not be paid by the Third Party Company.
