15/06/2007 - Philip Attwood- Question - Tax Exemption
Good morning.

Hopefully a simple question. I currently spend 196 days in Kazakhstan where I am employed and the Kazak Government automatically deduct 10% income tax at source. I am currently resident in the UK where, because of the UK "90 day rule" I have to pay income tax on my Kazak earnings minus the 10% already deducted in Kazakhstan. If I move to Spain and take up residency and where I will spend a maximum of 169 days in Spain will I be exempt from Spanish tax or indeed any UK tax?

Thanks for any clarification
