- Question - Hotels in Spain.

Hello,
We are taking our first trip into southern Spain and will be travelling on a Sunday from our house in France near Bordeaux. We will heading towards Biarritz then towards Burgos and Madrid eventually to our destination at Vera Playa in Murcia.. We hope to travel just to the other side of Madrid before putting up for the night in a hotel. What we are looking for is something just off the main road that will sleep 2 adults and a small dog.. with maybe a restaurant nearby.. In France we have no problem as most of the Hotel B&B, Formule 1 etc are cheap and cheerful and plentiful, but what about Spain ? Can anyone advise us or give us information which may assist ?
