Hi came across you site by accident!!

My partner and I are looking to retire to Spain and found your site very interesting and informative.

Are you able to give update on the Cost of Living by giving current prices against those 2006 prices you have shown?

We have just had a week in Granada and have the following comments to make re driving

a) watch out for motor scooters, they don't obey traffic signs or traffic lights as they appear to be exempt

b) mobile phones stuck to ear appear to be standard kit when driving, most unnerving when a bus driver is charging down the street talking on phone whilst counting his change, altering the stop details on the ticket machine in a street, the road is so narrow you have to pull yourself into a doorway to have the bus wing mirror miss your face by millimetres

c) taxi drivers have the same mobile phone fitted as standard, as do the motor scooterists
