Leaving Spain

I have been living and working in Spain for 5 years. Both me and my wife have residencia certificates. We are leaving to work in the UAE. Is there anything we need to do before we leave Spain regarding things like bank accounts and the tax office. Our Hestor says we don't need to do anything?
